Across the spectrum of great restaurants that call Hilton Head Island home, Lucky Rooster stands apart from the pack. Gleefully dancing between fine dining and good old fashioned Southern goodness, the guiding philosophy at Lucky Rooster has always been to simply take the comfort food you know and give it a culinary makeover.
“It’s still Southern American-inspired food, it’s just prepared in an elevated way that brings out the quality,” said owner David Leffew. “We are focused on providing an amazing dining experience that is both fun and approachable.”
Aiding in that approach is executive chef David Landrigan who came to Lucky Rooster from upscale Savannah eatery Circa 1875. A classically trained chef, he’s been carrying on the restaurant’s signature style, adding his own subtle (and enormously delicious) spin on each dish.
Lucky Rooster offers brunch, lunch and dinner six days a week. The result is a restaurant that stands apart, yet never stops reinventing itself. Now you don’t have to wait until Sunday to enjoy a Lucky Mary with the famed Buffalo chicken benedict, traditional French omelet with Gruyere or steak and eggs.
“We love the atmosphere here, especially with live music on the patio Weds, Friday, and twice on Sunday. With our new outdoor bar debuting this summer, there will be more space to sit and relax with a nice cocktail.” said Leffew.
Be sure to check their webiste for upcoming events like Whiskey Wednesday, Cocktail Classes, and live music schedule.
